The Rubik’s Cube Turns 40

The Rubik’s cube turned 40 this week. After selling 350-million units since 1980 (not to mention all the Chinese knock-offs) it is considered one of the world’s best selling toys of all time. Erno Rubik’s magic cube birthed the era of brain games. If you are really good you can complete the cube in 20 moves or under 6 second. I have never managed complete the cube. Have you?

This absorbing and frustrating 3D puzzle requires perseverence, spatial planning and problem solving skills. It is a classic of all time.
